The Commitment Continues (Vol. 23, Iss. 1; Winter/Spring, 2013-2014)

President, Vice President submit resignations

President Rich Phillips has submitted his resignation effective May 1, 2014.

After serving 3 ½ years as President, and 4 ½ years with DSEA-Retired, he has decided that it’s time for some “new blood” in the presidency. He has also accepted a contracted position with the State of Delaware in the Delaware Human Social Services program; he will be a Master Trainer for the Matter of Balance program throughout the State. His letter of resignation was submitted to the DSEA-Retired Board of Directors at the December 3rd, 2013 meeting.

Mary Jo Hunter, recently voted by the Board to fill the space as Vice President, submitted her resignation to the Board at the December 3rd meeting. Her letter stated that she felt she was not able to fulfill her duties as VP due to illness in family.
If you, or someone else who is a DSEA-Retired member, is willing to serve in these positions, please contact President Phillips or a member of the Board of Directors for additional information or details. Rich can be reached at 302-834-9245 or retengteach05@comcast.net.
