Voices of Experience

Remember your first day in the classroom? Today's teachers have the same butterflies in their stomachs and a lot of the same hurdles to get past in those first few years.

NEA asked a handful of retired members to share their best advice for new teachers, and taped their responses. Now it's your turn to weigh in.

Add your practical tips and words of wisdom to the discussion board, and we'll direct new teachers and NEA Student members to check it out. Whether it's discipline strategies, dress code review, or suggestions for getting to know colleagues, your advice could make a difference to a new teacher.

NEA-Retired Members Share Advice with Current Teachers

DSEA is currently in the planning stages of bringing this very intiative to Delaware.  We hope to engage all of our retired members in collecting and sharing advice with current educators.
