Every year, DSEA presents the Education Support Professional of the Year Award to a DSEA member whose contributions to students, schools, and our organization are reflective of the important role ESPs play in public education.
Since 2010, more than $200,000 worth of fruits, vegetables, and meat from Delaware farms has been served in school cafeterias as part of the Delaware Farm-to-School Program. The collaborative effort seeks to coordinate opportunities for districts to network with Delaware farmers and promote the enhancement of healthy, local feeding options for our schools.
