Educators in Delaware public schools are evaluated using the Delaware Performance Appraisal System. The system, which became DPAS II in 2007, was revised in 2009 to include Component 5, which is the 'student performance' provision. The system is remarkably complex and, each year, the Department of Education proposes additional changes. This section provides direct links to the relevant sections of the Deptartment of Education's website, as well as up-to-date information on proposed changes to DPAS.
