Member Spotlight: Pinelopi Karagianni

Learn more about Pinelopi Karragianni, a member organizer with the Odyssey Charter School Education Organization and Greek language teacher Odyssey Charter School. Karagianni's 20 years in education has provided her with the "pleasure of teaching a diverse range of students, from middle schoolers to adults, and each experience has taught me something new."

"Teaching has always been my passion! I love inspiring others and helping them discover their potential. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student succeed!"

"I wanted to make a difference! By getting involved, I can help amplify the voices of my fellow educators and ensure their concerns are prioritized. Being part of the union means having a voice and knowing I’m not alone in advocating for better working conditions, fair pay, and respect for all educators. It’s about making sure we all have a seat at the table and the support we need to make a real impact."
