Through its annual awards and scholarships, DSEA is committed to honoring the individuals who work tirelessly in support of public education and assist the next generation of educators.
The awards and scholarships offered by DSEA honor the dedication of public school educators and help the next generation of teachers and ESP's further their education.

Scholarships

DSEA is proud to sponsor two $1,000 scholarships for graduating seniors in Delaware. They honor the work of two individuals who played vital roles in DSEA's history and who were lifelong advocates for public education and educators. In addition, DSEA Retired awards two $1,250 scholarships, one for a graduating student and one for DSEA members. Finally, members have access to the Jack Kinnaman Scholarship, awarded by NEA Retired.

DSEA Awards

DSEA awards several recognitions each year during the annual Representative Assembly each March. The recognitions range from outstanding contributions made to public education to individuals who show outstanding member advocacy. In addition to these annual awards, DSEA is proud to support recognition awards for members (Teacher & ESP of the Month), provide scholarship support for Delaware students going to college, and facilitate access to grants to help their local grow and develop.
