About DSEA

DSEA members dedicate their lives to supporting children and public education.
Our members teach students in classrooms from pre-k centers through high school. They counsel adolescents and help them build career aspirations. They deliver instructional assistance in every type of subject. They prepare and serve nutritionally-balanced meals. They provide needed transportation and ensure our schools and facilities are clean and safe. They supply the professional services which help our schools run efficiently.

DSEA is the voice of education employees—in the General Assembly and the courts, in contract talks, and before school boards and state agencies.

Our Leaders

Our dedicated officers and executive board members are passionate educators and public school employees from across Delaware. They are dedicated to advocating for our members' rights and advancing the quality of education throughout the state.

Our Members

1 in every 40 Delawareans is a DSEA member. We serve the state, in classrooms and colleges, libraries and laboratories, city halls, and state offices.

Our Staff

DSEA staff help support the work of members by representing and advocating for their interests, and the interests of students and families, at the local and state level.
