Local Association Guide to Membership & Engagement

Having a strong membership plan helps build active members who are ready to engage in collective action that benefits us all. This guidebook will help local associations grow their membership and fulfill our mission to advocate for the rights and interests of DSEA members and outstanding public education for all students.

Growth and Member Engagement (G.A.M.E.) Plan

The G.A.M.E. Plan template helps locals to identify key activities, measurable outcomes, and engagement opportunities for local leaders, members and potential members. It will also help the local to develop key timelines and activities to achieve defined goals aligned with DSEA’s 5 Key Strategies for Membership Growth and Engagement.

Membership Resources

Membership support is a cornerstone for every successful union. DSEA is proud to work with local associations to develop the resources they need each school year to recruit new members and support their existing members.
